My name is Eglė Švedkauskaitė 

and I am a freelance theatre director.

Graduated Theatre directing BA in LMTA, 2018

Since 2025 studying Theatre MA in ZHdK, Zurich

​

Along with directing I've worked as an Asisstant in the Lithuanian national drama theatre (2019 - 2022) and took up a position of one of the three Artistic director's in this theatre in 2023-2025.

​

I am exploring ways to create on stage and in more unusual spaces and contexts, interested in both traditional theatre staging and experimental forms of performance art.
